Teams from accross Teesside and North Yorkshire took part in a basketball spectacular as the three part series of the Teesside JCVL got under way.
In all, 10 teams from 6 clubs entered the competition with 93 basketball enthusiasts, ageing from 6 to 16 competing for glory.
The games were played in two 7 minute halves.
The first part was the preliminary round which was to assess the teams, with the higher standard teams acheiving division one status and the lower level teams being entered into Division Two. The next games day will be announced shortly after Christmas with the possibility of more teams entering!
