previous record of 42,000 genuine hits in a

yesterday was in excess of 39,000 and with
another 15 days in August it looks like the

Cacu
Signs for Lions
Former Argentinean international, Carlos
Alemanno, known as Cacu has agreed to play
for TU Lions and will provide a formidable
force in partnership with fellow big man
Andrew Marshall. The Lions now boast two
6'10" centres and should have opposition
teams quaking at the prospect coming up
against the Lions. Cacu has lived in England
for five years and is heavily involved in
Game Time's basketball developments both on
and off the court. The strength of the team
continues to grow, a trend which has seen
the club develop not only a powerful A team
but also a solid B team, which will
hopefully lead to both sides challenging for
honours this season.

Away
Games
When
we fulfil an away fixture players will be asked to
pay two pounds to assist with running costs for our

during the season we will have referee and table
official expenses also. On a positive note the club
is submitting an application for funding which will
allow us to purchase new equipment including spring
loaded baskets and portable baskets to allow the
junior session to play full court.
